Youth Parliament
It is the UK Youth Parliament’s (UKYP) aim that by next year young
people in the UK will be aware they have their own youth parliament and,
if they are aged between 11 and 18 (inclusive), they have both the right
to vote for an prospective Member of the Youth Parliament (MYP) and to stand as an MYP.
The UKYP has produced a youth manifesto at each of its sittings. The UK
Government has provided a response to both the 2001 and 2002 UKYP
manifestos.
